  • Why is hydraulics so powerful?

    Hydraulics is a form of propulsion technique in which forces and movements are transmitted through liquids. Often, oil is used as liquid. The fluid used flows through the conduits containing the hydraulic system in question. The fluid is pressurized by means of a hydraulic pump. When the oil is pressurized by the pump, the pressure generated will cause the hydraulic cylinder to move. This enables the hydraulic system to perform work. Then, by means of hydraulic valves, the pressure in the double acting cylinder is converted to the opposite direction. As a result, the cylinder is shifted back to its base position.

  • Hydraulic couplings as an alternative?

    Increasingly, it does not seem to be such a good choice to start heavy conveyor belts with a soft starter. Our trusted hydraulic coupling can provide excellent service without wear and / or damage. Consider this type of link if you are having a heavy burden. Prices are included, especially in respect of the damage caused. In addition, it is a huge protection of the power tool or installation.

KTR Accessoires for bellhousing

KTR has developed various sorts of accesoires for bellhousing. Assembly and disassembly of the fully mounted drive unit outside the tank is possible. This facilitates cleaning and maintenance.

  • Penstock connections via mounting flange
  • Material aluminium
  • Suitable for bellhousings up to size P 350
  • Gaskets type DP and DZ made from perbunane (NBR)
  • Gaskets type DP are used between bellhousing and tank cover and furthermore between bellhousing and ZO mounting flange
  • Gaskets type DZ are used between ZO mounting flange and tank cover
